We have very exciting news regarding the upcoming soccer season. For the first time, both our Junior Varsity and Varsity teams will play in St. Elizabeth uniforms this fall! Helping make this possible was finding an excellent coach who is committed to building a soccer program right here at St. Elizabeth. We are happy to announce Alex Park as the varsity soccer coach!

Coach Park is a dedicated father of 2 young St Elizabeth students as well as an active member of the SEOT Athletic Council, Principal Advisory Board, and a Bitty Ball Sports Coordinator. He played soccer from age 7 to 18 for both club and high school teams and possesses a wealth of coaching experience. While at Illinois State University, he earned a minor in Athletic Coaching. He also comes from a family of coaches as his father coached swimming, basketball, track, and soccer. All told, Coach Park has been around coaching from the age of 6 all the way to the present where he has led indoor and outdoor youth soccer teams for the past 3 years.

From Coach Park: “I’m most excited for our students to have the opportunity to play for the Phoenix, under our own colors. I remember how special that was to me when I was growing up – putting on that jersey and feeling the pride of repping my school, and am pumped to be able to provide that for our kids as well.”

Congratulations to our JV soccer team on another win this season on August 28!
