Sixth grade learned about mummifying in October 2023.
Using an apple, and carving it, they placed their apples in natron to see what happens.
Would the natron preserve the apples like it did bodies?
After 5 days, students checked on their apples. Some apples survived the mummifying process, and some did not.
Then they wrapped their apples like Egyptians wrapped bodies, and designed a sarcophagus.
