Happy New Year!  I hope 2021 is off to a wonderful start for all of you.

While St. Elizabeth of the Trinity School is doing Remote Learning from 4-15 January 2021, I would like to inform you of online resources available for you and the students using a Chicago Public Library card:

ABCmouse.com:  Ages 2 and older can play and learn using 3,500+ activities.
Biography (Gale in Context):  Biographies of more than 500,000 people from all periods of history and geographic location.
 
Brainfuse:  Online homework help from 11:00 AM-11:00 PM.
 
CultureGrams:  Information about countries and territories to include customs, lifestyles, and social conditions.
 
Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos:  Encyclopedia articles are available in Spanish for grades 2-5.
 
Encyclopaedia Britannica:  General encyclopedia articles.
 
Encyclopaedia Britannica Escolar:  Encyclopedia articles are available in Spanish through 30 June 2021.
 
Gale eBooks for Kids:  Materials covering art, history, music, religion, science, and social sciences. 
 
History Research Center:  Information about African-American, American, American Indian, Ancient and Medieval, and Modern World History.
 
ImageQuest:  Encyclopaedia Britannica is offering access to images through 30 June 2021.
 
Khan Academy:  Videos and practice exercises about math, science, history, and other subjects.
 
Kids Search:  Magazine articles for elementary school students.
 
Little Pim:  Ages 3-6 can learn a new language.
 
Mango Languages:  Lessons in 70+ languages.
 
NoveList K-8 Plus:  Search for fiction and non-fiction books based on interests.
 
Science Online:  Encyclopedia articles, charts, illustrations, experiments, biographies, and timelines.
 
World Book Kids:  Short introductions to thousands of topics and access to maps, pictures, games, and word definitions.
 
World Book Student:  Over 40,000 encyclopedia articles, online atlas, online dictionary, and research tools.
