Ty Brown – Academic Interventionist

My name is Ty Brown (Miss Ty) and I will be the Academic Interventionist for St. Elizabeth of the Trinity for the 2022-2023 school year!

I grew up in Springfield, MO and began my Education degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. During that time, I worked at the campus church teaching Sunday School.

I took a few years off to tutor privately in Colorado, before moving to Chicago to finish my dual degree in Special Education and Elementary Education at Western Governors University.

I’ve continued to do work as a private tutor for neurodivergent students throughout the last decade both 1:1, and in small groups. My goal is to help students succeed to the best of their abilities in Math and Reading.

I look forward to working with your students, drinking many cups of coffee and shining a light on the joys of learning.
