My name is Mrs. Bea Cavoto and I will be the PK teacher at St Elizabeth this year.
I started working with young children as an aide in a play-based day care program during college. While working as an aide in a Montessori program, I decided to go back to college to receive a masters degree in early childhood, from National Louis University, in 2012.
I enjoy teaching young children the foundational skills needed for lifelong learning and believe, how a child learns about his/her world at a young age is how they will view it the rest of his/her life.
I taught early childhood religious education at St. Nicholas Church in Evanston, and Queen of Martyrs Church in Chicago. While teaching at Queen of Martyrs, I created and conducted a hearing impaired children’s choir.
I have a bachelors degree in music, from St. Xavier University.
