Dear Parents,
As part of our budget, each year we qualify for various federal funds, depending on our enrollment numbers, number of students considered ELL (English Language Learners) or low-income. This year, we have received over $10,000 in funds to help supplement our classroom resources.
One of our challenges has been determining our low-income families since St. Elizabeth does not participate in FSP lunches, which provide free and reduced priced lunches to low-income families. In order to determine our low-income population to report to the state, we had to create a brief survey to gather data. This data will ONLY be used to report the NUMBER of low-income families to the state, NOT individual families. All data is confidential and only privy to me. I will compile the data and report the number of low-income families to the state in order to apply for federal funds.
Please take a moment to complete this survey, especially if you receive any type of financial aid (Caritas, Kolber Scholarship, Empower Tax Credit, etc) and/or you fall into any of the following income levels.
Again, this is just for funding purposes for our school, nothing to be reported individually.
Please complete the survey by Friday March , as we need to complete our report on Monday. I apologize for the late notice and I thank you in advance for taking a few minutes to complete this survey. It truly will help our classroom teachers help your students.
Thank you,
Kristine Hillmann
